Hi, I am so happy you’ve stopped by my brand new blog today! Having a space to share my thoughts, recipes, and character designs has been a dream of mine for years, and thanks to fate (and Instagram), I found Alyson of Bash Studios who helped me to create something even better than I could’ve imagined. She honestly made the process not only easy, but also fun – like working with a friend. Building a blog can feel so scary, and I’ll admit I still reach out to her often with lots of little questions, but she has this wonderful way of teaching me how to do things so that I can then figure out how to do updates and posts on my own, and understand more about how the blog is put together. I’m one of those people who becomes paralyzed by fear of failure or imperfection, and it took me longer than I’d like to admit to add my first post after the blog went live because I had this silly, irrational fear that everyone would see the post if there was something wrong with it (I’m not sure how everyone would be alerted that the post was even up when I wasn’t announcing it, but sometimes my mind is a bit too imaginative lol)! Now that I have realized posts can always be adjusted after I publish them :), I hope you’ll bear with me as I continue to add recipes and make little tweaks here and there. Aside from sharing the food and characters that I love to create, I’ll also use this space to talk more about what I’ve learned since starting my own business, where I find inspiration, behind the scenes stories (and sometimes hilarious flops), and just little things that bring my life joy.
